There were some other items in the game which I felt could have used a bit more explaining, but I forget most of them now. If Malpercio was really just a name for a group of people, then what was the thing Kalas and company fought in the first game? The body parts of this supposed thing were buried in islands and sealed as the End Magnus, and I suppose that part can be explained by having each member of Malpercio being the body parts, (implied by their names: He, Che, etc.) but how did it all come about? I think it's really the afterlings which threw me for a loop, and basically tossed a wrench in the works for me so I got really confused. But in BKO, it is revealed that the whole war wasn't really as majestic as it appeared, and many things were forgotten (mainly Wiseman and the Dark Brethren and such). I'm wondering why people aren't talking about the so-called "War of the Gods." The whole point of the first BK game was to destroy Malpercio, the god (repeat: God, physical and living god of ancient times). I know not many come to this board or read these threads, but I gotta get something written down since I just finished BKO today. Well, it's possible, but I won't hold my breath. I wonder why they didn't put "Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean"? Could there be yet another Baten Kaitos, a sequal this time maybe? Kalas, ofcourse, then it says The story continues in Baten Kaitos. So, at the very end of it, it shows a baby with one wing. Speaking of Geldoblame, what a sad way to show his rise to emperor. All you hear is his name, when Geldoblame says "Bring me Georg!" I was kind of dissapointed that you didn't get to meet Georg and Larikush. I guess it'd be prudent to assume they both died. But, you do get the hint that Guillo lives! Guillo's "head" seems to still carry the will of the sorcerer and sorceress.
Though, you never really find out what becomes of Milly and Sagi in Mira. Overall I'm pretty pleased with how the story went and ended.
